Research Experience

• Research in Prof Bhargava’s Team (Jan 2025 - Present)
  • Build scalable, generalizable, and adaptive intrusion detection for dynamic UAV networks using machine learning, retrieval-augmented methods, and federated learning.
  • Developed FlowRAG, a retrieval-augmented intrusion detection approach (accepted at IEEE EDGE 2026), and released UAV-CAS, a calibrated digital-twin dataset and benchmark for UAV swarm intrusion detection (IEEE DataPort).
• Research in Prof Fahmy’s Team (Jan 2023 - Jan 2025)
  • Enabling network traffic classification using topological data analysis and developing a large scale network traffic generator to highlight limits in current network traffic classifiers.
• Research in NextGArchLab Team (Jan 2022 - Jan 2023)
  • Enabling multi-stream network analytics using a near-switch architecture to increase accuracy and reduce the reaction time of network telemetry systems.

  • Developed a GNN model to predict bug location in python Github projects using python code AST and text data from GitHub issues.
